During my very first session, surrounded by close friends and guided by a skilled facilitator, I experienced a profound awakening.
Within minutes, I found myself in deep stillness.
My busy mind finally went quiet, and my body relaxed — for the first time in years. From the very beginning, I felt how self-criticism, guilt, and resentment began to dissolve within me, replaced by self-trust and love.

Since then, breath has become my way of life.
Today, I share this transformative tool with others through in-person sessions in Singapore and online sessions via Zoom — both group and individual.

About the Alchemy of Breath Method
Alchemy of Breath is a powerful breathing system that supports emotional release, energy balance and reconnection to your inner strength. It is based on conscious connected breathing — a smooth, circular rhythm without pauses. The method was founded in 2012 by Anthony Abbagnano, who integrated his decades of experience in rebirthing, LeBoyer breath, holotropic and transformational breathing, Sufi breathing, pranayama and more.
This continuous, circular breathing cycle helps quiet the analytical mind and open access to deeper states of awareness, embodiment, and emotional clarity.

You may notice positive changes after just one session — reduced tension, frustration, and confusion, and a marked increase in self-esteem and vitality.
In one study, volunteers practising 30–60 minutes of connected breathing showed statistically significant improvements on the Profile of Mood States scale — experiencing less anxiety and sadness.
Conscious connected breathing has shown potential to alleviate depression.

A documented clinical case describes a firefighter suffering from severe PTSD who, after eight sessions of connected breathing, experienced complete remission of post-traumatic stress symptoms along with associated depression and anxiety.
Physiological markers such as heart rate variability also normalised — demonstrating the method’s potential to release deep-seated trauma and chronic stress.

Journey into the Depths of Your Subconscious
Research indicates that conscious connected breathing activates subconscious processes. During practice some memories, images or emotions from early childhood or even birth experiences may arise. This active breathing technique helps unlock suppressed emotions — similar in effect to EMDR or somatic therapy.
Continuous, oxygen-rich breathing without pauses can evoke states similar to psychedelic experiences
(enhanced perception, euphoria, and spiritual insight) whose depth correlates with increased wellbeing and reduced depressive symptoms afterward.

Studies show that prolonged cyclical breathing (over 15 minutes) and lowered CO₂ saturation can induce altered states of consciousness.

Allowed only with prior medical consultation:
  • Asthma

Beyond the Breath
My work with energy extends beyond the human body — it flows into the spaces we live in.
As a certified Feng Shui Master, I help people harmonise their homes and surroundings with the same intention that guides my breathwork: to restore balance, flow and a sense of loving presence. Just like the breath, nature is my medicine. Walks in the forest, mountain hikes, and breathing together with the Earth keep me centred and grounded — and I bring that same sense of calm balance into every session I hold.
